What is UserNest?▼
UserNest is a Windows application that backs up and restores your user profile (photos, documents, browser favorites, Outlook, etc.) in a few clicks. Ideal for switching computers without losing your data.
How does backup work?▼
Choose a destination (external drive or USB key), select the items to backup (Desktop, Documents, Chrome, Edge, etc.), then start the backup. Restore works the same way on the new computer.
What's the difference between Consumer and Pro?▼
The Consumer version (9.99 €) is available on Microsoft Store for personal use. The Pro version (39 €) is portable, installable on USB key, and designed for IT technicians to backup and restore multiple user profiles without the Store.
Where is my data stored?▼
Your data stays on your external drive or USB key. UserNest does not transmit any data to external servers. Everything is stored locally by you.
In which languages is the app available?▼
