What is UserNest?▼
UserNest is a Windows application that backs up and restores your user profile (photos, documents, browser favorites, Outlook, etc.) in a few clicks. Ideal for switching computers without losing your data.
How does backup work?▼
Choose a destination (external drive or USB key), select the items to backup (Desktop, Documents, Chrome, Edge, etc.), then start the backup. Restore works the same way on the new computer.
What's the difference between Consumer and Pro?▼
The Consumer version is sold on Microsoft Store for personal use. The Pro version is portable (USB key, no Store) and designed for IT technicians who back up and restore profiles on several PCs. It is sold in seat packs or as an unlimited Technician licence: prices are detailed on the Pricing page.
Where is my data stored?▼
Your data stays on your external drive or USB key. UserNest does not transmit any data to external servers. Everything is stored locally by you.
In which languages is the app available?▼
